When to consider Invisalign:

Invisalign is a Cosmetic Restoration that straightens teeth, brings teeth into alignment, and potentially closes undesired gaps between teeth without the traditional intensive care of metal brackets and wires.  Invisalign is not a complete replacement of all traditional orthodontic care and not everyone will be a good candidate for its services, but for persons needing mild to moderate corrections or restorations after shifts from having previous orthodontic care Invisalign is often an affordable and attractive option.  To help patients determine their candidacy for this treatment we offer a free Invisalign consultation by appointment.

 

Invisalign:

Invisalign is a system of straightening teeth without the use of conventional braces.  Invisalign uses a series of clear and removable plastic aligners to create tooth movement. The patient exchanges these removable plastic aligners approximately every two weeks or as the Dentist prescribes and each new aligner is custom made using a proprietary computer program that produces just enough change to move and adjust the teeth in a safe, discreet, and overall comfortable manner.  The aligners are kept in the mouth except when the patient is eating, brushing, and flossing, but they are virtually undetectable and comfortable to wear.

 

Restoration by Invisalign:

The restoration process with Invisalign varies from patient to patient depending on how much movement is necessary and how quickly the teeth shift.  The Dentist will be able to give the patient a treatment plan with a timetable and realistic expectations when the patient comes in for the initial consultation.
